About Us

When we worked as newspaper and television journalists, The Old Rectory was simply our family home.

The Dining Room

Now we want you to enjoy the house and the garden with us. All our rooms are large, light and elegant, with big beds and large modern bathrooms (with double baths and all with showers as well). There is a family suite and downstairs there is a large en-suite bedroom for those who don’t like stairs.

As well as home-cooked breakfasts in our magnificent dining room overlooking the garden, we also serve
dinners four days a week. We are fully licensed.

As animal lovers ourselves, we welcome
dogs – provided they don’t chase our own hens or
our neighbours’ sheep.

We do hope you will come and stay.
